Job Title : QC Manager Department : Quality Location : CVG ShanghaiReports To : Senior QC/CI ManagerDirect Reports : Quality Engineers, Technicians, InspectorsPOSITION ROLELead the plant process quality team work on continual improvements; improve the quality level of delivered products, set up manufacturing quality cultures.AUTHORITIESThe QC manager has authority to: ? Require the involvement of all relevant functions on problem solving and quality improvements? Stop the production and shipment, require containment for risk of non-conforming parts delivery to customer? Planning the necessary inspection point and method in house? Stop the usage of risky application of measurement tools.MAJOR FUNCTIONS The QC manager will be responsible for:- Achieve annual safety and quality target.- Complete QPS program and continual improve the efficiency.- Improve visualization management and enhance 5S level of inspection team- Cooperate effectively with customer quality team to enhance customer perceived quality, investigate and follow up on all customers complaints relating to quality issues;- Optimize IQC work flows, including incoming inspection, routine test and type test, and monitor the product quality throughout the whole process- Promote the culture of focus on key characteristic control and improvement- Responsible for advance quality development of new product introduction, PPAP responsible- Carry out product and process audit based on situation.- Maintain the measurement tool calibration plan and implementation.- Take in charge of subordinators’ career development plan. Optimize department’s structure and employee capability.Regularly review factory quality data to summarize product quality problems and urge relevant departments to solve the problems in time.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (Skill Set)The incumbent will be required to have the following skills, knowledge and attributes: 1. Good command in oral and written English.2. 5-10 years automotive working experience, mechanical background is preferable;3. At least 3 years or above relevant experience at supervisory level preferably gained from multinational company;4. Knowledge of quality management tool (TS16949 quality tools) and realize proper application deployment through several quality improvement activities;5. Independent, initiative and effective in problem solving6. Strong interpersonal communication skills ,together with good leadership7.
